Although not as popular as the Tamerlane series, the Tartar was produced alongside its more elaborate sibling for a few years. This is a 1969 model Tartar in good condition. The bow is overall lighter in mass than the Tamerlane series, with a comparably streamlined riser made from bubinga and shedua. The long limbs provide a smooth draw for recreational and tournament style target archery, and avoid the issue of string pinching at the arrow nock.
The finish does show some wear, and there is minor wear stress on the fiberglass. Though it has been drilled for sight mounts on the back and belly of the riser, it has been done properly so as to avoid splitting of the glass around the screws. The bow also includes a new endless loop Dacron string. $170.00
