This special custom Hawk recurve from Saxon Archery is a real gem. With gorgeous,
finely figured Birdseye Maple on the back and belly, and Cocobolo inlays on the back, it's nearly a work of art. The handle is composed of rich red
Cocobolo with maple and yew extending through the feathers, and even the tips feature the gorgeous cuts of
Cocobolo. All told, neither words nor photos can not describe the craftsmanship of this bow.
Better yet, the bow's fine handling matches it remarkable style. Despite its more compact size, its power increases steadily when overdrawn and doesn't even stack at 30". For such a light poundage, it's a relatively quick shot and has been tuned to be as quiet and low in shock as possible. This remarkable piece of equipment is an unheard of deal at its price.
