Medieval Archery "Barbarian" Longbow

This is a classic, straight-style longbow that takes on the traditional D-shape when strung up. The limbs are four laminations of maple with a red glass core, with a back and belly layer of lyptus wood. The handle is solid actionwood, lending it some weight, and is well sculpted to fit an average sized hand. The finish is relatively low gloss, reducing the problem of glare while outdoors.

The Barbarian is a prototype longbow from Medieval Archery. The handle is made from yellowheart with a stripe of ash, layered with black and red fiberglass laminations. Its limbs are made from three laminations of red elm with a red fiberglass core, with tips made from ash and phenolic, making it Fast Flight capable. The finish is a soft matte on the limbs and satin on the riser, although there are a few minor cosmetic nicks in the finish along the edges in a few areas.

The tips are three layers of phenolic, making the bow Fast Flight compatible. Includes a B-50 Flemish string with silencers and leather shelf set up.
