This "extra-long" longbow is a fine combination of bow designs with a slight deflex/reflex for performance and reduced handshock compared to straight limb longbows. The "reverse grip" handle helps to keep the instinctive accuracy working for the archer, similar to "forward locator" style grips in some recurve designs. Flat, but well shaped, the grip is comfortable in the hand more so than "Hill-style" bows. The walnut back & core limbs keep the performance snappy while the yew belly helps keep the draw smooth. The 70" length allows for longer draws for taller archers, gaining 2#-3# per inch smoothly out 32".
