This longbow - with its radical deflex/reflex and set-back handle - is often mistaken for a recurve bow, and indeed offers recurve performance. The reverse-taper limb core and heavy tip overlays create a bit of "static tip" effect, transferring the working load deeper into the limb for top-flight efficiency making this a very fast bow with no handshock. The unique "set-back" handle is borrowed from Turkish & Asian bow designs and functionally reduces bow-hand input, making this bow very forgiving to shoot. The 62" length allows draws out to 30+".
