These beautiful longbows have a distinctive deflex/reflex design, although not as extreme as it's Longhorn siblings. Likewise, the handle is center-set rather than the set-back style featured on the Longhorn, giving it a more familiar longbow appearance. They do, however, have a fairly long and deep cut shelf.
Long, narrow limb design combined with static tips gives the Crusader an edge in speed. They are built to a 29" draw, so those with a typical draw of 28" should take note of a slight poundage decrease when considering draw weight, but the Crusaders are still quick shots. In addition, the heavy tip overlays make it Fast-Flight string capable, adding another notch in performance.
If the Longhorn is too radical a longbow design, then the Crusader is undoubtedly a prime performing, more traditional alternative.
